NYC, Tatbung YC victorious in Y Kesho Memorial Volleyball tourney

Jiribam, May 10 : NYC edged past PYC team by 3-2 sets while Tatbung YC prevailed over Echal Club, Dibong team  in straight sets in today's matches of the ongoing 9th Y Kesho Memorial Volleyball Tournament held at Jiribam Higher Secondary School playground.
The first match of the day, NYC had a good start but faltered in the next two sets to PYC. PYC looked promising to win the game but NYC surged ahead in the fourth set before prevailing in the deciding set to carved out a 25-20,22-25,21-25,28-26,15-10 win.
Meanwhile in the a sided match, Tatbung YC dominated Echel Club Dibong right from the beginning to secure a  convincing 25-17,25-22,25-19 win.
The tournament organised by All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA) under the aegis of All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA) since May 6 is featuring a total of 9 teams.
