IMPHAL, May 15 : Mami Thawan brushed aside Wanted Boys 7-0 to register their second win and top Group A winners at the TKWA Trophy 2019 being organised by Tentha Khongbal Welfare Association at Tentha Khongbal Multiplex Ground.
Mami Thawan which managed a 7-1 win against Wangoi FC in the previous fixture continued their fine form to clinch a 7-0 win against Wanted Boys today riding on goals by Imran, Chinglensana, Udanta, Milan and Jackichan.
Imran put Mami Thawan in the front-foot when the match was just 4 minutes old while Chinglensana grabbed the second goal in the 16th minute before Udanta opened up his account two minutes latter to make it 3-0 till the break.
The Mami Thawan onslaught continued in the second half as Wanted boys hardly resist and it was Milan who banged in the fourth goal in the 28th minute before Udanta (30'), Jackichan (33') and Imran (35') found their way in to beat the Wanted Boys keeper and complete the 7-0 demolition of Wanted Boys.
