TKWA Trophy G-5 hold OFA, Lanchenbi FC down Pishak FC 2-1

IMPHAL, May 17 : G-5, Heirok and OFA, Pungdongbam played out a goalless draw while Lanchenbi FC, Taobungkhok edged past Pishak FC 2-1 in today's league matches of the TKWA Trophy 2019 being organised by Tentha Khongbal Welfare Association at Tentha Khongbal Multiplex Ground.
In the first (Group J league) match, G-5 and OFA were evenly poised throughout and had to settle the game without any goals being scored on either end despite similar amount of chances they created.
Meanwhile in the Group K league match, Lanchenbi FC managed a comeback 2-1 win against Pishak FC thanks to second half goals by Herojit (36') and Kishan (38') after trailing 1-0 in the first half.
The lone goal that gave Pishak FC a 1-0 lead in the first half was netted by Roshan in the 22nd minute.
