Hee-Yai Furniture Studio, Hee-Yai Foundation launched

IMPHAL, May 17: Hee-Yai Group of Company and Registered Firms launched its furniture studio named Hee-Yai Furniture Studio and a non-profit foundation called Hee-Yai Foundation, yesterday.
Former Minister Moirangthem Hemanta formally launched the furniture studio and the charitable foundation in the presence of Hee-Yai Group of Company and Registered Firms founder Laishram Eroz Khumancha during a simple function held at Hee-Yai Building, Sangaiprou, Imphal.
Speaking at the function, Hemanta stated that the denizens of Manipur establishing companies and firms in the State is  commendable as well as an important movement which is much needed when it comes to meaningful implementation of Act East Policy. Observing that Manipur could reap ample benefits from Act East Policy when entrepreneurs and youth from the State establish adequate companies and firms, the former Minister opined that the State Government should give special emphasis on this aspect and encourage entrepreneurs by providing monetary assistance and loans. Eroz Khumancha asserted that Hee-Yai Group of Company and Registered Firms were instituted by a group of unemployed and hardworking youth few years back.
Claiming that Hee-Yai Group of Company and Registered Firms have been fully operational since the last one year or so, he stated that the public support has led to the successful venture of the company. He informed that furniture ranging from low to high cost will be made available at Hee-Yai Furniture Studio so that the public, irrespective of rich and poor, can buy their necessity from the studio. Hee-Yai Foundation was founded with the main objective of carrying out some charitable works in the society, Eroz claimed that one percent of every product sale from Hee-Yai Furniture Studio will be contributed for nurturing young and talented people in the State.
