'86 including minors voted in 17th Lok Sabha elections'

IMPHAL, May 17
Alleging that as many as 86 including several minors and expired people voted in the 17th Lok Sabha elections from Chadong area, one Yurmung Kasar of the village has filed a complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur.
These persons including minors aged 10 were wrongly enrolled in the electoral roll of 43/12 Chadong (T) (B) of 43 Phungyar Constituency, he alleged in his complaint which provides a list of the names of the persons.
Demanding immediate action and punishment as per law to those officials involved in enrolling the 86 people, Yurmung appealed that the persons (86) be removed  from the electoral roll and their votes be counted as null and void.
