AIMS volunteers donate blood on 7th foundation day

IMPHAL, May 18: Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Shinpanglup (AIMS), in connection with its 7th foundation day celebration, organised a one day mega blood donation programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) Blood Bank Saturday.
Volunteers of AIMS and students donated blood at the event. Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Shinpanglup president Rajesh Yumnam stated that the blood donation programme was organised with the aim to save precious human lives.
The lup has been taking part in various social cause and will continue to perform its part in the future also, he said. He urged the youth not to abuse drugs and emphasised the need of collective effort in bringing about growth and promotion of the indigenous population.
