Squash Rackets C'ship K Tomba to meet N Premjit in senior men's final

IMPHAL, May 18 : K Tomba will take on N Premjit in the senior men's final at the ongoing 5th Sub-Junior, Junior and Master and 7th Senior State Level Squash Rackets Championship 2019 being organised at St Anthony School's court at Chingmeirong under the aegis of Manipur Squash Rackets Association.
The final line up of other ages groups were also completed today. Deepraj L will meet meeting Harbanash Kh in the Sub-Junior boys' final match while M Linthoi will play Kh Minerva Devi for the Junior Girls' title and L Veroson will take on Richi Ningthoujam in the Junior Boys' final.
Senior Men's
K Tomba reached the final clinching a 11-66, 11-8, 12-10 win against Sree Prakash in the first semi-final match of the Senior Men's competition while N Premjit secured his final berth by beating E Bonex with a convincing 11-4, 11-5, 11-1 win in another semi-final match. Earlier in the league stage clashes of the day, K Tomba defeated S Ashokumar and N Premjit before losing to Bonex who suffered defeats in the hands of L Manoranjan and N Premjit.
Shree Prakash also earned wins against T Pamei and L Manoranjan after losing their first outing of the day to N Premjit.
