No plan to review coalition yet:NPP

IMPHAL, May 18: National Peoples Party (NPP) State unit working president Ch Ajang Khongsai has announced that there are no discussions or plans to decide whether or not the party will stay in the coalition State Government, for now.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, Ajang Khongsai said that NPP still supports the Government and there were no pressure or factors forcing the party to pull out either.
The BJP led coalition Government was not formed with just a short term stint in mind. The Government was formed by the political parties with the aim of bringing peace and prosperity to the State,  he added.
During the recent Outer election, NPP and BJP might have contested opposing each other but that is the rule of election. Now there are no more issues between the two parties as the election is over, he explained.
Ajang continued that there may be many dissatisfaction among the Council of Ministers and there may be differences of opinions as well.
However, till date, there has been no complaints from the Ministers to the party High Command, he said.
He then explained that the party is closely observing the political atmosphere which is changing from time to time but for now, there will be no impact to the Government.
When asked about NPF, Ajang Khongsai said that he did not have any comments as the issue is for the NPF.
