17th Edufest 2019 to open up new career avenues for students

    20-May-2019
IMPHAL, May 19: The 17th edition of Edufest is all set to kick off at GM Hall, Imphal on May 21 and 22. The two day event will see top universities and colleges from across India directly interacting with students who are on the look for the best option for higher studies.
With the 12th results already declared and results of entrance exams also declared, the 17th Edufest comes at an opportune time and aims to guide the students to the right career path at the right time. Students with their parents can meet and interact with the participating top colleges and universities under one roof and make informed career decisions.
Edufest is also a platform where students can clarify all their doubts regarding career and higher studies from the expert counsellors and delegates and at the same time get all information about courses, scholarships and career prospects.
Organized by the pioneer of Education exhibitions in North-East India, Lynchpin, Edufest has the tradition of being the one stop shop for all things related to higher studies. “In this age of internet, it is as easy to be misinformed as to be informed. But when it comes to education and career of our students, we must be extra careful. And that is why we need exhibitions like Edufest,” said Anthony Thokchom, a teacher from Imphal. “And when it comes to Edufest, I trust this exhibition as only the reputed, accredited, recognised universities participate in it,” he added.
Several top ranked Indian universities are participating in the 17th Edu-Options 2019 including SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Tamil Nadu), Jain University (Bengaluru) and IMS Unison University (Dehradun), Amity University among others. Last year too, several top Indian universities participated in Edufest and the exhibition was warmly welcomed by the students and parents.
“I first came to know about Edufest when my elder brother visited it back in 2017. And it is with the help of Edu-Options that he is presently studying in Bangalore. And naturally, I am excited to visit it this year and I hope to find the perfect college for myself.” said Sunita Chanu, who passed 12th boards this year.
The 17th Edufest 2019 is open for all and students who are looking for study options across India are expected to largely benefit from it.
“It is the 17 years of trust the students and participating universities-colleges have placed on us that keep us moving and it is a matter of keeping that trust of the millions intact. Because quality education is for everyone and we hope to keep it that way.” said Kaushik Barua, Director, Lynchpin.
