'Adon Khamba Ewanglon Thoibi' released

BISHNUPUR, May 20 : State Wetland Authority Technical Committee, Chairman, Dr Kh Shamungou Singh has released  a book "Adon Khamba Ewanglon Thoibi" (A romantic fidelity :  A critical study), penned by Hemamcha Sobha, at INA Hall, Moirang, today.
The book releasing function organised by the family members of the author was attended by State Wetland Authority Technical Committee, Chairman, Dr Kh Shamungou Singh as chief guest; Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School,Vice Principal, Kh Sanayaima Singh as president and retired Principal of Moirang College, Dr AK Sunderkumar Singh; retd Professor Y Modhu Singh as  guests of honour.
During the function, Kh Sanayaima reviewed the book while Professor Y Modhu Singh spoke about the author and the the book he wrote.
Later, Dr Kh Shamungou Singh, who was  conferred with Bal Sahitya Puruskar last year, was felicitated by the family members of Kumbi College, Principal, K Jugeshwor Singh with simple gift.
Speaking at the event, Hemamcha Sobha said that the book was written with an aimed to correct the misconception of Moirang history.    
The author  of the book, Hemamcha Sobha who had worked as Assistant Teacher in several Government schools   wrote altogether three books based on the history of Moirang.
