7th foundation day of AIMS held

IMPHAL, May 23 : The 7th foundation day of Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Singpanglup (AIMS) was observed at its office in Kwakeithel Bazar, yesterday.
Chairman, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM),  L Mahendra, Asst Professor, Manipuri Department, MU, N Sanatomba, president, Coalition for Indigenous Rights Campaign (CIRCA), Somorendro Thokchom, All Tribal Students Union Manipur (ATSUM), Vareiyo Shatsang, AIMS, Rajesh Yumnam and advisor, Salai Holdings Private Limited, Dhanabir Laishram attended the programme as  presidium members. The observance began by lighting the ceremonial lamp and hoisting the association's flag.
Speaking on the occasion, L Mahendra lauded the volunteers of AIMS for their relentless efforts and dedication to uplift the student community of the State.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Yumnam said that AIMS will soon launch a drive to inspect the functioning of several schools in the State, particularly Government schools.
