Non-local quacks

IMPHAL, May 24: Some non-local quacks have been found running a clinic in the heart of Imphal city.
As it looked suspicious, a team of student volunteers led by All India Students’ Federation, Manipur State Council secretary Kh Rameshore inspected Unani Health Clinic, Rupmahal Tank here. The student volunteers found the clinic in a very distasteful condition and they also found ganja and some bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor.
On further enquiry, it was found that Unani Health Clinic was not registered with the authority concerned. Moreover, MB Sheikh, MK Ahamed and Salman Sheikh who have been running the clinic turned out that they cleared only Class VIII and Class X, leave aside holding any medical degree. Notably, all the three quacks are natives of Bihar. Taking strong exception to the fraud, Kh Rameshore urged the Government to take up stringent action against all illegal clinics and book all the quacks who have been running Unani Health Clinic.
He further announced that AISF Manipur State Council has banned Unani Health Clinic permanently.
