Mishap claims 1

SENAPATI, May 24 : A youth was killed while another was left seriously injured following an accident between Sejang village and Charoi Pandongba village, under Keithelmanbi PS, Senapati district, at around 3.15 pm today, around 900 metres away from the 86 Bn CRPF camp at Noney side.
According to a source, the accident occurred when a motor cycle (Heavy Duty) collided with a Tata Xenon belonging to HVS Company.
The deceased has been identified as Rajeev Kumar-(18) s/o Suresh Sah of Longmai Noney Bazar  while the injured youth has been identified as Gailiangsin Kamei (19) s/o Dailin Kamei of Longmai part-III. The body has been deposited at RIMS morgue  while the injured youth is undergoing treatment at RIMS ICU. A police team of Keithelmbi PS rushed to the spot as soon as they received information and registered a case regarding the incident.
They also seized the vehicles involved in the accident.
