Shiv Sena to pressure NDA

IMPHAL, May 25: Shiv Sena State unit president M Tombi has announced that he will leave Imphal for Delhi at the earliest so as to pressure the NDA partners to give a proper post to one of the two candidates who were successful in the Inner and Outer Manipur Parliamentary elections.
Speaking to media persons, Tombi expressed happiness at the peoples' mandate which ensured a landslide win for the NDA and its allied parties.
He continued that the people of the country decided to vote for the NDA due to the numerous developmental works initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Government for the people as well as the steps taken up to advance the country. Even in Manipur, the Chief Minister N Biren led BJP coalition Government brought numerous positive changes within a span of just over two years.
The relation between the hills and the valley have improved considerably, the condition of roads and bridges have improved, Ima Keithels have been constructed at the hill DHQs, and bandhs and blockades have been eradicate, he added.
Urging all political parties to stop mocking one another as the election is now over, Tombi also thanked the people for voting for the right candidates.
He also informed that he will leave Manipur for Delhi soon to urge the NDA alliance partners to give a post to one of the successful candidates.
It may be mentioned that 18 MPs of Shiv Sena came out successful in the recent election.
