MPDF to launch Statewide wall poster campaign against mob violence

IMPHAL, May 26 : Manipur Peoples' Democratic Front (MPDF)  will launch a Statewide wall poster campaign against mob violence at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, RJSP candidate for the 17th Lok Sabha election as well as the party president, Senjam Nandeshwore said that Manipur Peoples' Democratic Front decided to launch the campaign looking after the increasing cases of mob violence in the State.
On the other hand, MPDF president Sapam Samungou said that the campaign will spread the message to stop mob violence, respect human rights and to respect the Court.
Nobody is above the law and the people cannot take the law into their own hands, he added.
Sapam Samungou also appealed to the law enforcers to not let the trust of the people go in vain.
