WWII bomb

IMPHAL, May 26: An unidentified object suspected to be an un-exploded WWII bomb, was discovered at Heibok Ching, under Singjamei PS yesterday.
The bomb was found by members of United Peoples' Welfare Association, Langthabal Awang Leikai, while digging the ground.
It may be mentioned that soldiers camped atop Heibok Ching during the war and there have been instances when un-exploded bombs were discovered by people.
The unidentified  item will be handed over to the authorities concerned.
