Don Bosco alumni extends aid to rehab centre

IMPHAL, May 26 : Continuing its social services since the past few years, Don Bosco School Imphal 93 Batch provided varied assistance to Hope Ministry Rehabilitation Centre, Nagaching, Imphal East today.
In addition to donating eight CCTVs, food items and recreational items at the said de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, the Don Bosco School Imphal 93 Batch also conducted a free medical check-up for the clients who are receiving treatment at the rehabilitation centre.
Members of Don Bosco School Imphal 93 Batch, including Dr Ch Deepak, William Salam, Ranjeeb Thiyam and Bobby Sarangthem formally handed over the donated items to Hope Ministry Rehabilitation Centre owner Maiyoshang Kasar and consultant Nongthombam Prithiviraj.
The same alumni has also provided medicines to the needful clients at free of cost.
Speaking to media persons, Boboraj Sarangthem, a member of the Don Bosco School Imphal 93 Batch conveyed that the assistance provided today was a part of contributing possible aid to the society, especially to those who are in need of assistance.
Observing that the society should motivate and help drug addicts to return to the mainstream society, Boboraj claimed that assistance will be provided to the poor and needy people wherever possible.
Informing that Maiyoshang Kasar is one of his classmate at Dob Bosco Imphal, he lauded Kasar for working towards uplifting and guiding drug addicts towards the right path.
