IMPHAL, May 3 : Joseph Mayowa Olaleye scored one goal each side of the break to help TRAU FC post a huge 4-1 win against Lonestar Kashmir FC (LSK) in their first home match of the final round of the Second Division League at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium today.
The home team had a dominant start with captain Princewill Olariche Emeka opening up the score off a penalty kick in the 19th minute after Joseph Mayowa was fouled by LSK midfielder Karun Raina inside the box in the 17th minute of the match. Princewill then set up another goal as Joseph Mayowa connected his inch perfect pass before sending into the net in the 30th minute to hand the home team a healthy 2-0 till the first half.
The visitors however took control of the earlier proceedings of the second half in their attempt to reduce the gap as TRAU FC rested back with the comfortable lead.
LSK's search for goal ended when Hamza Auta Abdullahi coolly dispatched a penalty kick in the 52nd minute following a foul by TRAU defender Soraisham Sandeep inside the box while trying to stop charging Basit Ahmed Bhat.
The goal forced TRAU to get back into the game but did not have to wait for long as U-22 forward Ngangbam Naocha found the net within the span of two minutes with the help of a fine cross from the right flank fed by midfielder Premjit Singh Laishram to help retain the two goal cushion.
The visitor's tempo faded as the game progressed while TRAU went on for more goals to prove their superiority at home and it was Joseph Mayowa again who drove home the final goal in the 86th minute and sent the home crowd into raptures.
 It was a superb combination between Ngangbam Naocha and the Nigerian striker as Naocha dropped the ball near the penalty area which Joseph skilfully controlled before cracking a powerful shot past LSK Keeper and ensured the 4-1 finish.
TRAU's Ningthoujam Momocha Singh (14'), Joseph Mayowa (45'+2') and LSK's Karun Raina were yellow carded by the referee.
TRAU FC will visit Ozone FC Bengaluru in their next tie on May 8.
