Shija, JNIMS to suspend OPD today

IMPHAL, Jun 15: Heeding to the call of IMA headquarters, IMA Manipur State Branch has decided to carry out the same protest in the State in letter and spirit.
It has also appealed to all Government and private medical establishments including home practices in the State to extend full cooperation by adhering to the directives of IMA headquarters.
Responding to the call of IMA, JNIMS and Shija Hospitals have announced that  all routine operations and OPD services would be suspended from 6 am of June 17 till 6 am of June 18.
Notably, IMA has been demanding enactment of a Central law against hospital violence.
