Biren meets NPP leaders at Delhi

IMPHAL, Jun 16 : Amid the tension amongst the partners in the BJP led coalition Government, mainly with the National Peoples' Party (NPP),  Chief Minister N Biren Singh met NPP leaders at New Delhi today and during the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar (who was removed from the portfolio of Finance by the CM) as well as other Ministers of the party in the coalition Government were present as well.
Although it is not known as to what were discussed during the meeting, it is now known that NPP did not initiate the meeting, said a source.
In the meantime, the BJP Central leaders have also expressed concern with the removal of Th Biswajit from the portfolio of Power and Works.
