MCCCM formed

IMPHAL, Jun 16 : Meetei Christian Pastors and leader came together on June 12 and formed a council called Meetei Christian Churches Council Manipur (MCCCM).
A press release issued by the general secretary of the council today mentioned that  the council was formed with the aim of maintaining peace, prosperity and communal harmony in the State and during the formation of the council, it was resolved to safeguard and respect the traditions, cultures and the diversity which exists in the State.
The council also appealed to one and all to refrain from circulating any news, rumours and information etc which can create disharmony among the various communities residing in the State.
