Father's Day at MBC

IMPHAL, Jun 16 : The Centre Church of Manipur Baptist Convention today celebrated Father's Day under the theme ‘Father is a disciplinarian – Hebrews 12:7.’
Kaisa Puni and Zuringla K Chalhang, DC, Kamjong district were the speakers in the morning and evening service respectively, said a statement issued by MBC today.
Like every year this special day was marked with many beautiful songs, a poem recitation and distribution of gifts to all the fathers present on the day.
The most defining moment of the day was the declaration of the Father of the Year which went to Mr Yumnam Nabakishore Singh and the handing over of the citation and sash to the awardee. Y Nabakishore is from Thangmeiband Lairenhajaba Leikai, a retired Stores Assistant of Public Works Department and a father of 3 children. The event was organized by the Women Society, MBCCCI.
