Triathlon Assn of Manipur congratulates Sarungbam Athouba

IMPHAL, Jul 1 : Triathlon Association of Manipur has sent out its greetings over the achievement of Sarungbam Athouba for his gold medal feat at the Open Aquathlon National Championship 2019 organised by West Bengal Triathlon Association under the aegis of Indian Triathlon Federation on June 30.
S Athouba who took part in the Boys Group 11-13 years, covered 200 m swim+ 1.5 km run in 8 minutes 30 second to win the gold medal at the championship said a press note issued by Triathlon Association of Manipur.  Athouba is the son of S Jiten and Pritam Chanu of Chingamathak, Imphal and reads in class VIII at Don Bosco High School, Chingmeirong. He is trained by T Thonba, A Superman and Th Chandrakumar at Modern College Swimming Pool. While congratulating the young and promising player, Triathlon Association of Manipur also wished him luck on his future endeavours.
