L Sadananda bags gold at Commonwealth Weightlifting C'ships

L Sadananda Singh from Manipur has earned India a gold medal and a bronze medal at the ongoing 2019 Commonwealth Weightlif-ting Championship held at Apia, Samoa.
L Sadananda Singh who is representing India in the 73 kg category for youth and junior category won the gold medal and bronze medal with a total effort of 275 kg which included 124 kg in snatch and 151 kg in clean and jerk, said a press release of Manipur Weightlifting Association.
The association also wished him a very successful career while congratulating him for his feat at the said championship.
