Senapati rape accused apprehended

Senapati, Jul 12: Senapati police team led by Luther Nangsha, MPS, Addl SP (Law & Order), Senapati in collaboration with OC, Noney Police station have apprehended a rape and attempt to murder accused on the night of July 11, said M Pradip Singh, IPS, SP, Senapati.
According to his statement, the accused had been absconding after the crime that was committed way back on August 1, 2017.
The accused identified as one, Ashin, alias Kashin, alias Kasinba, aged about 50 years, s/o Mangainangba of Nungtek Karvanmuang village, Part - 2, PO & PS, Noney reportedly absconded after allegedly committing the rape and attempt to murder a girl child aged 13 years at a place near Viewland Colony, about 2 kms from Senapati Police Station on August 1, 2017.
