MAWC condemns murder of John Gangte

Tengnoupal, Jul 13: The Molnoi Area Welfare Council (MAWC) along with all the CSOs of Molnoi area strongly condemned the brutal murder of John Gangte at Ngamkhai Veng, Moreh on July 13 at around 12.20 pm, said a statement issued by Chairman MAWC.
It said that such inhuman act in the civilized society is unacceptable and appealed the authority concerned to book the culprits and be given befitting punishment as per the law of the land at the earliest.
Endorsing the bandh called by the CSOs of Moreh led by HTC, the MAWC along with all the CSOs of Molnoi area will impose bandh along Moreh-Imphal section (NH-102) from midnight of July 13, maintained the statement.
However, services related to medical, education, electricity, religious programme would be exempted from the purview of the bandh, it added.
