Students, State toppers in JEE main feted

Bpr/Kak, Jul 14 : 13 successful students of class X and XII, conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE residing under Phoijing  Awang Youth Club (PAYC) Nambol along with State topper of JEE Main 2019, were felicitated today.
The felicitation ceremony was organised by PAYC Nambol at Phoijing Awang community hall in which vice chairperson Nambol Municipal Council Angom Bimola, ex chairperson Nambol Municipal Council Tekcham Ibochou, secretary Bethel English High School Phoijing Awang Konjengbam Tomba and retired  Headmaster Kunjo Ningombam attended the function as presidium members.
Six successful students of class X, conducted by BOSEM and Assam board along with seven students who passed class XII examination (conducted by COHSEM & CBSE) with flying colours were felicitated with certificates, cash and shawl.
State's topper of JEE Main, Laishram Prince was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1500, certificate and a Khamba Thoibi souvenir.
On the other hand, best camper of the social service organised by the club from September 28 to October 2 last year was also welcomed at the  function with simple gifts.
KAKCHING: Friendship Sporting Club Kakching Phoushupat Leikai organised an appreciation cash award distribution function for 1st Divisioners of class X and XII (BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE).
The appreciation cash award 2019 was held at Kakching Phoushupat Leikai Mandop in which Kakching Municipal Council ward no 4 Councillor Pukhrambam Sanahal attended as the chief guest and Langmeidong Higher Secondary School Vice Principal N Bhabini as functional president.
The award function was held as part of the Children Personality Development Function organised by the club with an objective to encourage children and explore their personality, after every two months.
Speaking at the function,  Friendship Sporting Club Kakching president Pukhrambam Inaosana spoke on increasing moral values in children as a resource person.
The cash award has been donated by Naorem ongbi Bhabini and her family in the name of her late husband Dr N Bhagyachandra.
