Slingshots seized

KAKCHING, Jul 14 : Tangjeng Well Organised Club along with Tangjeng Khunjao members and Honorary Wildlife Warden Thoubal, Forest Division, Moirangthem Open Meitei seized slingshots, which were utilised for catching birds, from Tangjeng Parbat and Tangjeng Khongyam Kambongpat area today.
Honorary Wildlife Warden, Moirangthem Open Meitei said that the miscreants, who were using the slingshots to catch/kill wild birds, were warned not to repeat such actions in the future.
Open further appealed to all to love all animals and birds, be it indigenous or wild and urged all to refrain from catching/killing any wild animals and birds.
