DSA Chandel women's Volleyball team feted

CHANDEL, Jul 15 : Today in a very prestigious program, the District Sports Association, Chandel felicitated the Women volleyball team of  DSA Chandel which emerged champions in the HIDSAM SPORTS Meet 2019 recently held at Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi, Sadar Hills from July 1 to 6.
In today's felicitation programme, the president of DSA Chandel TS Chamna Anal congratulated the Women Champions team for having done their best and bringing laurel to the District. Prizes and awards were also handed over to the players.
N Madhunimai Singh MPS, SP Chandel; Col Ajit Khatri, Commandant, 18 Assam Rifles Chandel as special guests in today's function and HL Lovingson Anal, Spl Contractor/VP DSA Chandel; DB Kowar Lamkang Spl Contractor/VP DSA Chandel; Th Joyshing Monsang asst secy DSA Chandel and NG Beling Moyon asst secy DSA Chandel were among the DSA Chandel executives who attended the function.
The SP Chandel Madhunimai Singh and CO 18 AR Col Ajit Khatri in their speeches congratulated the team and also mentioned about Peace and Unity through Sports in the District as well as the State. Rev Huten Wilson Anal Pastor, Panchai Baptist Church pronounced the blessing prayer which was followed by a grand feast generously offered by HL Lovingson Anal and family.
