HRO condemns

Jiribam, Jul 15: Handicap Rehabilitation Organisation (HRO), Jiribam strongly condemned the firing attack carried out on Urikkhinbam Thoibi d/o Human Right Defender U Nobakishore and Mangsatabam Sobita of Singjamei Naorem Leikai on July 4 at around 7.30 pm by some unidentified armed assailants riding a white Gypsy vehicle, said Th Ranita Devi, Gen Secy, HRO in a press meet held at the conference hall of Jiri News Network (JNN) today morning and urged the authority concerned to nab the culprits involved and be given befitting punishment at the earliest.
She bemoaned the prevailing situation of gun culture in the State and urged the authority concerned to take up strong action against such perpetrators so that the law of the land prevails over chaos and disorder.
