Sub-Jr Boxing Nationals: Robinson, Chinglemba cruise into semi-finals

IMPHAL, Jul 6 : Manipur's Sh Robinson and Chinglemba Moirangthem sealed their places in the semi-finals at the 1st Sub-Junior National Boxing Championship being held at SAI National Boxing Academy, Rohtak under the supervision of Boxing India since July 2.
Sh Robinson booked the last four round berth in the 55 kg category event with a dominating 5-0 win against Andhra Pradesh rival Patnana Prasad in the quarter final today. He will face Henthoi Singh Mayengbam of Services for a place in the final tomorrow.
Chinglemba on the other hand reached the 58 kg category semi-final after an overwhelming 5-0 triumph against Ansh Rathi of Chandigarh in a quarter final bout. He will meet Mustafa Haneef of Punjab in the semi-final bout tomorrow.
The State team are being led by L Sushilkumar Singh as manager and M Shyamchandra as team coach.
