United Yarkhok FC awarded certificate of recognition

Ukhrul, Jul 7 : President of Ukhrul District Sport Association (UDSA) Shangreiso A' Shimray today handed over an AFC certificate of recognition to United Yarkhok FC, Ukhrul in a simple function held at north of Phungreitang, Ukhrul.
The certificate was awarded to Yarkhok FC for its grassroots programme and valuable contribution towards making AFC Grassroots Day 2019 a resounding success. And in the meantime, an interaction session was held with UDSA president Shangreiso about how to develop sporting activities and encourage upcoming youths of the district. Shangreiso also dwelt on the lack of sporting infrastructures structure in the district. President of United Yarkhok FC Yarreitha  urged the UDSA for preparing annual calendar in order to arrange sport event regularly in Ukhrul district through out the year which would enhance enthusiastic interest among the young sports lover besides promoting and capacitating them in their sporting skill from home turf.
