I am no longer the river I was once
The river that flows in a deep sea of worries and anxieties
The river most worried worrying for the impending dry season
A dry season in a 'dry state' where
Boozy people gets drunk and wettest
Vendors washed dirts and dirty linens
Swamped the river with plastics and polythene bags
Transformed the river into a site for pissing and shitting
What a sight! What a sight !!
Sickening to the sightseers.

I am no longer the river I was once
The river that loves monsoon clime the most
A climate that empowers the river
The only climate that fills the river
Feel alive and kicking and robust
Gem of a climate for the rain-starved river
The river that is on cloud nine
Monsoon clouds that hover up above the river sky
Every river deserves its sunny days
Every river has its musings in the moonlit night.
