SP Kpi serves food to his men on Independence Day

KANGPOKPI, Aug 18: The topmost police officer serving food to his men in uniform would be a beautiful and motivational sight for everyone as it is always the lower rank serving the superior not only in the police department but in every department of the Government and even in private institutions.
Such motivating activities has been exhibited on every India’s Independence Day by none other than the SP Kangpokpi, M Hemant Pandey.
The IPS officer had earlier scripted a record by making Kangpokpi District the first among civil police in the state to have its own gym which was inaugurated on August 9 last year.
Since he was posted in Kangpokpi as the chief of Kangpokpi Police from Ukhrul, he continued his humanity towards his men as he did in his previous posting and organized ‘Bara Khanna’ at his office campus on every India’s Independence Day right after the celebration where he personally served food to his men along with his subordinates.
On the auspicious 73rd India’s Independence Day celebration this year too, he and his subordinates served food to his men after the momentous celebration at his office campus.
“In any function our boys came to do their duties sincerely and then after the function the VIPs head for their lunch and no one even cares about them. I always felt if I get a chance I would do my bit to change it and this is my bit to do it”, said Pandey.
