Protesters take out torch rally in different parts of Bpr

Bishnupur, Aug 19: In protest against the State Govt failure to solve the suspicious death of N Babysana Chanu which has been lingering on for the past one month, mass torch rally were took out in different parts of Bishnupur district yesterday.
While Lumlangdong Ima Keithel Development Committee and Keithel Chaokhat Lup Lamlangdong were jointly organizing a mass torch rally in and around Bishnupur market yesterday at around 7.30 pm, a team of Bishnupur police led by Dy SP Th Luxmi and OC Bishnupur Dineshkumar stopped the protestors. Later at around 9.30 pm, after the police left the area, many women folks and male members came out holding burning torch and took out protest rally from Bishnupur Forest Gate and headed towards Bishnupur market raising many slogans and later moved towards Thongjaorok river and returned towards Bishnupur market to conclude to the rally.
In Khoijuman, women folks and students in large numbers took out a torch rally organized by Khoijuman Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, raising slogans to book the culprits involved in the mysterious death of N Babysana from Khoijuman market and moved around the village.
Nambol Apunba Meira Paibi Lup also organized a protest rally seeking justice of N Babysana from Nambol market to Nambol Police station yesterday night.
A large number of police personnel stopped the protestors at Nambol chingmang and were made to return towards Nambol market.
UKKCL Club also organized a torch rally at Oinam which was participated by members of  Oinam Apunba Meira Paibi Lup and students. The protestors raised slogans for the swift delivery of justice of N Babysana from Oinam Lampak to Oinam Tiddim road.
The torch rally were also organized at Keibul Lamjao by PHYDO Club.
