Sr Powerlifting team leave Imphal

IMPHAL, Aug 19 :  A 12 member State powerlifting team which will take part in the 44th Senior National Powerlifting Championship-2019 have leave Imphal for  the championship venue, New Cooch Behar today.
The players who departed Imphal for the tournament which will be held from August 20 to 24 are Nunglepam Bijensana Singh (59 kg), Resnick Paonam (83 kg), N Sunita Devi (47 kg), Khumujam Devikarani (47 kg), Sanasam Chaoba Devi (52 kg), Ahanthem Suni Devi (52 kg), Leimapokpam Babylon Devi (57 kg), Elangbam Jeshika Devi (72 kg), Nameirakpam Mirabai Devi (84 kg), P Dineshori Devi (84 kg).
Naorem Sushila Devi who will be officiating as a referee , is leading the team as manager along with coach Konsam Rosida Devi.
