Hnaringkhu prevail in 1st Soldong United 9-A Side Football Tourney opener

IMPHAL, Aug 19 : Hnaringkhu opened the 1st Soldong United 9 A Side Football Tournament played at Chandel Christian Mini Stadium with a bang by defeating Pathalon by 5-0.
The inaugural programme of the knock-out football tournament participated by 23 teams was graced by 23 teams was graced by  HL Lordson Anal-Chairman, Japhou Bazar Authority as chief guest; Th Albert Chothe- vice president, DSA Chandel as guest of honour and Ts Caleb Anal- Chief, Hnahringkhu Village Authority as functional president.
Hnaringkhu dominated the game right from the very beginning and led the first half by 2-0 margin riding on goals by B Aboy (13') and Rd Kolni (36').
The dominance continued in the second half as Rd Kolni completed his hat-trick  by adding two more goals in the 58th and 62nd minutes before KT Warkhu fired home the last goal 65th minute.
