Ngangom Tejkumar elected as MABA president

IMPHAL, Aug 20 : Ngan-gom Tejkumar Singh has been elected as the president of Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) after an emergency meeting of the association was held today at 2 pm. Ten others were also elected to fill the posts of vice presidents, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and joint secretaries.
Nongthombam Rimotk-umar Meetei and Ningthou- jam Kuber Singh were elected as the vice presidents of the association in the same election which was conducted under the supervision of Lunkhosei Haokip as the Returning officer while Sanabam Chandra-kanta Singh, Pheiroijam Dhanajit Singh and Thiyam Ratankumar Singh were respectively elected as the secretary general, assistant secretary general and treasurer.
Takhelchangbam Tombi Sharma will be the new general secretary, administration while Chungkham Narendra Singh, Ningthoujam Shiva-das Singh, Y Romola and Kongjengbam Premchand Singh will be the joint secretaries for organisation, games and sports, women's affairs and publicity respectively.
