Court seeks medical report

IMPHAL, Aug 20: Allowing a police prayer for providing some time to submit objection reports regarding the bail application filed by the Principal, coordinator, head warden and warden of  Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West, has directed the SP of Manipur Central Jail to submit medical reports of the Principal and coordinator after getting them examined at JNIMS and the jail MI room.
During the hearing of the bail application by Principal/founder of the school Pheiroijam Landhoni Devi, coordinator Pheiroijam Romita Devi, head warden Illen Kamei and warden N Jinnty today, the IO of the SIT which was constituted to investigate the mysterious death of N Babysana inside the school hostel, prayed for some time to submit bail objection report before the Court, mentioning that he was being occupied with law and order duty.
On the other hand, the counsels of the Principal and the coordinator prayed to the Court to call medical reports of their clients from Manipur Central Jail Imphal, while the counsels of Illen Kamei and N Jinnty prayed for some time.
The Court, after hearing the submissions of both sides, allowed the prayer of the IO for some time to submit the objection report. The Court further called the medical reports of the Principal and the coordinator from the SP, Manipur Central Jail, after getting them properly examined at jail MI room and at JNIMS and fixed the next date of hearing on August 29.
