CSC blank NIVSO 2-0 in IE 1st Divn League

Imphal, Aug 22: CSC blanked NIVSO 2-0 in the ongoing "The Moirangthem Ibobi Memorial First Division Football League Tournament 2019-20 being organised by Imphal East District Football Association at NESU Ground, Khurai today.
In the first match of the day, after a goalless first-half, CSC changed their strategies and was paid off resulting in two goals in the 37th and 49th minute through Paogumang and Sankhphao to seal the match with 2-0 goals.
In the second match, Angtha FC and SSC (P) played out 1-1 draw.
Angtha FC opened the account in the 24th minute but SSC (P) equalized it in the 29th minute through Sultan.
The first half ended 1-1 as both team failed to produce the winning goal.
The second half saw both team fought hard to outdo each other in search of a goal but could not convert their endeavors into any fruitful goal.
The match finally ended 1-1 at the end of the regulation time.
