Aaradhya conferred AWWA Excellence Award-2019

IMPHAL, Aug 25
Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association has express happiness and extended congratulations to Aaradhya on being honoured with the prestigious "AWWA Excellence Award-2019" by the Army Wives and Welfare Association for her outstanding achievements in sports (Karate) on the occasion AWWA Day, observed on August 23 at Red Shield Auditorium at Leimakhong Military Station.
It may be mentioned that, Aadhya, daughter of Lt Col Vivek Bindra and Simta Bindra, became the youngest International from Manipur when she settled for a bronze medal in the 9th Commonwealth Karate Championship held in Durban from November 29 to December 2 last year. She has also amassed 8 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals since last year from different official, promotional/invitational National and International championships.
Aaradhya is training under the guidance of Shihan Mutum Bankim Singh at  Patsoi Part-I, the main dojo of International Shito Ryu Karate Federation, India with the assistance of Sensei Soibam Bindeshori Chanu and Sempai Omesh Maimom, said a press release of Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association.
