Mareiri volleyball tournament concludes at Chowainamei, Senapati

Senapati, Aug 25 : A volleyball tournament organised by Chakremei Youth and Students Organization since August 21 concluded today at Chowainamei village, Senapati District.
Altogether 16 teams from nearby villages of the region  participated in the tournament.
In the final match played today, Chakremei Youth and Students Organization beat Makhan Khuman Youth Club in straight 3-0 sets and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 70,000 and a trophy while the runners up ended with Rs forty thousand and a trophy.
Makhan Khullen Youth Club defeated AboRikee Youth Club in the third place deciding match and took home a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and a trophy.
