NGL, HKKSA win in Tbl 2nd Divn League

IMPHAL, Sep 10 : NGL, Lourembam earned a 2-0 win against PADSW, Langathel while HKKSA, Thoubal Haokha won 1-0 against EEO, Lumding in today's Group B league matches of the ongoing DSA Thoubal Second Division Football League tournament at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School Playground, Thoubal.
In the first match of the day, NGL found the breakthrough in the 31st minute off a penalty kick converted by Chinglensana and led the first half 1-0 before Surjit banged in the team's second goal and the game's last in the 45th minute of the match.
Meanwhile in the 5th match of the tournament, HKKSA posted their second win by beating EEO 1-0 thanks to Nganba's 22nd minute strike.
FFC, Melaground will meet AFC-B, Athokpam in a Group A fixture tomorrow.
