Arjuna awardee O Bembem feted

IMPHAL, Sep 10 : The first woman footballer from North East India to get Arjuna Award and AFC-B License holder Oinam Bembem was feted today at Pasighat Arunachal Pradesh during the opening ceremony of 25th Senior Women National Football Championship.
O Bembem was presented a memento by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu in the presence of Union Sports Minister, Kiren Rijiju on the occasion. O Bembem was also praised highly for her role in developing the game of football in the country.
