MU Inter College Softball tourney: MU clinch women's title, Biramangol and DM College of Science declared men's joint winners

IMPHAL, Sep 11: Biramangol College and DM College of Science were declared joint winners in the men's competition of the Manipur University Inter College Softball Tournament which was hosted by Biramangol College while MU team emerge women's champions after beating Biramangol College 10-0 in the final match today.
Men's Competition
Biramangol College reached the final of the men's competition beating DM College of Arts 14-8 while DM College of Science made it to the final with a 12-5 win against MU.
Meanwhile in the final, both Biramangol and DM College of Science were levelled at 2-2 before they were announced joint winners.
Women's
MU set up the final date with Biramangol College which got a bye after beating DM College of Science 14-6 in their semi-final outing today. In the final MU proved too superior to the hosts as the former prevailed 10-0 to win the title.
