State Wushu team leave Imphal for National C'ship

IMPHAL, Sep 11
A 31-member team of Wushu Association of Manipur (WAM) has left Imphal for the 18th Junior National Wushu Championships to be held from September 15 to 20 at Punjab University, Chandigarh.
The players who left Imphal along with the team officials are as follows.
Taolu
Male-Shohan Yumnam; L Jibison Meitei and L Zetly Singh.
Female-O Pakpi Devi; Sh Subita Chanu; Y Echantombi Devi; O Malemnganbi Devi; W Ningthibi Devi; Y Geeta Devi and N Christina Devi.
Junior Sanshou
Male-T Thoibi Singh; P Loya Singh; L Newton Singh; P Bobocha Singh; Th Malemnganba and Loli Rakuyio Sanwibou Chalai.
Female-Kh Chaoba Devi; M Rajluxmi; T Priyaluxmi Devi; H Pravabati Devi and P Sanathoi.
Youth Sanshou
Male- M Samson Singh and L Dakho;
Female- S Asha Devi; B Tamphasana Devi; T Diana Devi and H Chaoba Devi.
H Damenti Devi and Th Binapani Devi are respectively taolu manager and coach who were flagged off today while and H Omega Meitei and Kamei Kalanganglu are leading the sanshou team as manager and coach respectively.
