JA share spoils with LYA in KK Memorial 1st Divn League

IMPHAL, Sep 12: JA, Kakching and LYA, Wangoo  played out a 3-3 draw in and edge of the seat league contest of the ongoing 17th Kishorkumar Memorial 1st Division Football League  organised by District Sports Association, Kakching at its playground.
Both JA and LYA were evenly poised throughout and started the first half with score levelled at 1-1 before settling the game in a 3-3 draw at the end.
Rohit put the Kakching side ahead in the 10th minute with a superb strike but LYA's Gautam drew level during the additional time of the first half to make it 1-1 at the break. LYA's Dayananda broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute after the resumption of the game but H Oliver helped JA make their way back into the game scoring the equaliser in the 56th minute of the match. W Chandan of LYA handed the lead again with a beautiful strike in the 59th minute before T Bebeto came to JA's rescue scoring the leveller again in the 67th minute and made it 3-3. There no further goal despite desperate attempts from both the ends forcing the two teams share same points.
