Manipur to kick off Santosh Trophy NE Zone qualifiers against Nagaland

IMPHAL, Sep 13 : Manipur will be opening up their North East Zone Qualifying Round for the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2019-20 against Nagaland on September 23 in Agartala.
Manipur are clubbed along with Meghalaya, Nagaland and Railways in the Group B draw of the qualifying round which will be hosted by Tripura from September 22 to 27. Manipur will meet Railways in their second group fixture on September 25 before they take on Meghalaya on September 27. Meanwhile, Assam, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh are drawn together in the Group A of the NE Zone qualifying round.
Each group winners will qualify for the final round of the prestigious football championship.
