BBA edge past PSG 2-1 in Jiri Mini Boys Football

JIRIBAM, Sep 13 : BBA, Chhotobekra sealed a thrilling 2-1 win over PSG, Kalinagar in Group X quarter final league match of the ongoing 16th Chandam Inunganbi Memorial Mini Boys U-13 Football Tournament organised by All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA) at Jiribam Higher Secondary School (JHSS) playground.
Vanwami did the star turn in this match as he hit a brace to put BBA ahead before David pulled back a goal for PSG and made it 1-2 at the end of the match.
Vanwami struck the opener in the 9th minute and his second goal came up in the 21st minute to hand BBA a 2-0 advantage in the first half itself. The huge lead did not hinder the Kalinagar side from making their efforts to pull level and soon it was in the 23rd minute that David cut the rivals lead by 1 goal. They however failed to capitalise on late chances either due to lack of luck or composure enabling BBA earn all three points.     
PFC, Phaitol will meet KSC, Raniveng in Group Y quarter final league match tomorrow.
