A Bidya claims senior women's carrom title

IMPHAL, Sep 14 : A Bidya Chanu has clinched the senior women's title at the at ongoing 28th State Level Age Group and Inter District Carrom Championship organised by Imphal East District Carrom Association under the aegis of All Manipur Carrom Association at Nongmeibung Community Hall.
A Bidya was well ahead to win the top place as S Binita, K Nirmala and N Roshiya settled for the 2nd, 3rd and the 4th places respectively in the senior women's competition.
Meanwhile, Ningthoujam Mandakini Devi was crowned the sub-junior girls champ while Moirangthem Sandhyarani Devi, Daina Ningthoujam and Linda L finished 2nd, 3rd and the 4th respectively.
The Sub-Junior boys' title on the other hand went to Th Kiran Singh while Waverick, Th Akhil managed second and third places.
In the junior boys competition, Taibanganba Meinam emerged champ while Ningthoujam Lamyanba, Vikesh Ningthoujam and Napolean settled for the 2nd, 3rd and the 4th places respectively.
Meanwhile Veteran title was claimed by Seram Yaisha who emerged on top of K Kumar (2nd), N Sanamatum (3rd) and S Bimoljit (4th).
